About The Position

This position is responsible for operating and disassembling equipment as assigned for cleaning, sanitizing work areas and setting up equipment for inspection at start-up, while also adhering to food safety practices and company policies. The pay for this position starts at $20.85/HR, includes a shift differential increase for working 3rd shift, and has potential for overtime.

Requirements

• Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Must be willing and able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed.
• Must be willing and able to reach high and low levels, frequently.
• Must be willing and able to flex/grip with wrist/hands occasionally (less than 5 flexion/minute).
• Must be willing and able to push/pull/lift with arms below waist/at shoulder/above shoulder level up to 40 pounds frequently.
• Must be willing and able to work in extremely hot or cold temperatures in a damp environment.
• Must be willing and able to work with a noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
• Must be willing and able to rotate as required for positions, required.

Responsibilities

• Cover motors, electrical plugs, and all computer equipment.
• Clean up excess waste on the floors.
• Use a pressure hose to spray down all equipment.
• Scour all equipment with a scouring pad and/or chemicals are required.
• Sanitize equipment and areas with disinfectant, and oil when done.
• Cleaning of lights, pipes, walls, refrigeration units, etc.
• Handle and distribute cleaning chemicals and record data.
• Perform any other work as assigned by the supervisor.
• Perform general housekeeping duties in the department.
• Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP, and SQF Requirements.
