Sanitation Labor 3rd Shift - Cumming, GA
About The Position
This position is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the plant as assigned. All assigned work duties must be completed before the end of the shift while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson's policies and procedures. 3rd shift hours are 11:00pm – 8:00am (start time and end time are flexible depending on which crew hired for). Pay = $17.90 base plus shift premium. Responsible for cleaning the plant and equipment in accordance with Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOP’s). Work requires that the team member be able to perform heavy manual work continuously over an extended period of time. Must be able to climb, walk, bend, squat, lift, work in wet, hot, humid, and slippery environment, chlorine and other chemicals will be used during this shift. Lifting is required in many areas (weight depends on area). These positions work in a cold, damp or hot, humid environments, and these areas may have slippery walking surfaces. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Requirements
- Ability to perform heavy manual work continuously over an extended period of time.
- Ability to climb, walk, bend, squat, and lift.
- Ability to work in wet, hot, humid, and slippery environments.
- Ability to work with chlorine and other chemicals.
- Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Must provide government identification number (SSN) for verification of previous Tyson employment history.
