About The Position

Tuffy’s Pet Food is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the Night Shift, Sanitation Janitorial position. As a Sanitation Janitor, you will be responsible for cleaning employee bathrooms, employee break rooms, conference rooms, office area and designated smoking area.

Requirements

Self-motivation and willingness to get along with others
Will do general cleaning of their work area to maintain all sanitation schedules
Attend Food safety trainings
Follow all GMP’s and food safety instructions
Report food safety non-conformances to supervisors
Self-motivation, good judgement and reasoning abilities, work shifts as required, safe work record
Lifting in excess of 30lbs
Work in a dusty/dirty environment
Continuous walking and climbing
Occasionally bending, stooping, crouching, carrying and lifting
Working in hot/cold and loud environment
Proper use of detergents, sanitizers and cleaning equipment
Work with peer, supervisors and subordinate groups

Responsibilities

Wash and clean employee bathrooms west warehouse II, west warehouse V, east warehouse, main bathrooms and front office bathrooms
Wash and clean employee break rooms
Wash and clean coffee pot area in office area
Vacuum and scrub office floors
Dust all flat surfaces in office area, including walls and ceiling area
Dust, clean and vacuum conference and training room
Perform an inventory of supplies and give inventory to receptionist
