Sanitation I - 3rd Shift
About The Position
The Sanitization Technician I reports to the Sanitation Supervisor and is based out of our Seabrook, New Jersey location. This individual will be responsible for performing all sanitation operations, and conducting food safety, and quality procedures of the plant to ensure a safe, efficient, productive, and positive work environment. All procedures and practices used are grounded in standards, regulations, and laws addressing occupational safety (OSHA) and food safety and food quality (FDA) in addition to environmental safety (EPA) in accordance with Safe Quality Food (SQF) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The starting hourly rate for this position is $21.67/hr. 2nd shift is eligible for a $0.35/hr shift differential. 3rd shift is eligible for a $0.45/hr shift differential. Medical insurance will be offered through the Local Union 152.
Requirements
- Must successfully complete and maintain the Lassonde Pappas Forklift Certification.
- Ability to Read and Write
- Work in a safe manner following all PPE requirements.
Responsibilities
- Performs daily, weekly, and monthly sanitation tasks (Master Cleaning Schedule)
- Follow all sanitation safety and food safety guidelines
- Support Production CIPs
- Complete all associated documents related to task per facility document requirements
- Work with chemicals to complete cleaning
- Operate PIT equipment
- Operate Cleaning equipment
- This role will be required to taste test products as needed, up to a couple of ounces per test.
