About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sanitation Coordinator to manage and coordinate sanitation and quality system activities. This role plays a critical part in ensuring food safety, regulatory compliance, and partner safety while supporting overall plant operations. The position predominantly operates on 3rd shift.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple programs and priorities
  • Knowledge of sanitation, food safety, and compliance standards preferred
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Must have authorization to work in the country in which the role is based. Schreiber will determine, in its sole discretion, whether to sponsor an individual for work authorization.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate sanitation and quality systems, including: EQMS (Enterprise Quality Management System) ECM (Enterprise Content Management) MSS (Master Sanitation Schedule) Sanitation scheduling and training programs
  • Initiate and manage inspection and environmental swabbing schedules
  • Record, track, and analyze sanitation and microbiological results
  • Maintain, update, and revise documentation and procedures
  • Plan and coordinate cleaning and sanitation events
  • Ensure compliance with: QSP (Quality System Programs) SSOP (Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures) LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) JSA (Job Safety Analysis)
  • Serve as relief for the Sanitarian during absences or vacations
  • Lead sanitation operations as needed
  • Attend departmental meetings and conference calls
  • Participate in scheduled facility clean-ups (weekly or as needed)
  • Support internal and customer audits
  • Complete required sanitation and microbiological training (travel may be required)
  • Collaborate with leadership and team members to ensure food and partner safety
  • Follow and execute all standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Perform required PCP (Process Control Points) and CCP (Critical Control Points) checks
  • Execute reaction plans for food safety, quality, and customer compliance issues
  • Understand and uphold customer-specific requirements
