About The Position

Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the packaging facility, including the plant, offices, restrooms, lunchroom, and parking lot. Ensures that there is no cross-contamination between designated areas.

Requirements

• Open availability is needed to meet the needs of the business.
• Must provide proof of authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Uses a variety of cleaning implements such as hoses, brooms, mops, scrapers, squeegees, dustpans, brushes and rags to clean floors, walls, windows, etc.
• Uses a variety of power operated cleansing machines, including floor scrubbers and vacuums.
• Moves equipment and furniture as needed; uses manual pallet jack to move pallets. Operates cardboard baler.
• Empties trash cans inside and outside of the facility; picks up litter and debris.
• Inventories cleaning supplies.
• Indicates completed work on the check-off sheet.
• Washes, dries, and hangs smocks and towels.
• Ensures proper cleanup and disposal of potentially hazardous materials spills.
• Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery.
• Assists with department duties as necessary.
• Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary.
