The Sanitation Associate is responsible for controlling all environmental and in-depth equipment cleaning to ensure the safety and quality of our food products. This role involves disassembling and setting up production equipment, cleaning equipment using COP and CIP systems, verifying proper cleaning and set-up, and managing sanitation materials. The associate will also operate material handling equipment, monitor and test chemical concentrations in CIP systems, and maintain CIP Chart Recorders. Documentation on charts and CIP logs, inventory of sanitation supplies, and verification of CIP systems using bioluminescence technology are key tasks. The role requires adherence to the plant's Master Cleaning Schedule, basic troubleshooting of sanitation equipment, and training new associates on environmental operations. Maintaining a safe and orderly work area according to GMP and Safety guidelines, operating Rich’s SCADA system, completing paperwork, and performing other assigned duties are also part of the responsibilities. Additionally, the associate may be required to train in other plant areas as part of the Skillblock program, such as the Valve and Pump PM program.
