Sanitation Associate- Phoenix
About The Position
The Sanitation Associate performs typical sanitation tasks to support the production team and the entire facility up to and including removing waste, debris and refuse, transporting empty boxes to compactors, monitoring outside of facility for waste and debris, sanitizing equipment and floors at end of shifts, cleaning and sanitizing tools and receptacles and other custodial functions as needed. This role involves working in a temperature-controlled environment and regularly lifting and moving up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lifting and moving up to 50 pounds with or without assistance. The associate must understand and adhere to all safety standards and requirements.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Speak, read, write, and understand English at an intermediate level.
- Understanding and adhering to all safety standards and requirements.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience working in sanitation/janitorial preferred.
Responsibilities
- Performing typical sanitation tasks to support the production team and the entire facility.
- Removing waste, debris, and refuse.
- Transporting empty boxes to compactors.
- Monitoring the outside of the facility for waste and debris.
- Sanitizing equipment and floors at the end of shifts.
- Cleaning and sanitizing tools and receptacles.
- Performing other custodial functions as needed.
- Cleaning and sanitation of all food production equipment and machinery (e.g., production machines, tables, mats, compost bins, sinks, drains, walls, and any surface scheduled for sanitation duties).
- Cleaning and sanitizing all kitting and packing equipment and surfaces.
