Sanitation Associate
About The Position
Bimbo Bakeries USA is seeking a Sanitation Associate to join their team. This role is responsible for maintaining high-quality sanitation standards within the bakery. The associate will be involved in disassembling and assembling equipment for cleaning, setting up production line equipment, and safely operating various cleaning machines. Adherence to Food Safety, Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP), and Food Quality Plans is crucial. Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift, push/pull up to 50lbs, stack/unstack or carry, stand and/or stoop for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Comfortable in a warm working environment.
- Ability to work Nights, Weekends & Holidays.
Responsibilities
- Ensure high quality sanitation standards.
- Efficiently disassemble and assemble equipment for proper cleaning.
- Set up line equipment prior to production run.
- Safely operate equipment and machines used in the cleaning process, including rack washer, power washer, steamer, washer extractors and dryers.
- Follow the Food Safety, Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) & Food Quality Plans.
