The Sanitation Associate is responsible for controlling all environmental and in-depth equipment cleaning to ensure the safety and quality of our food products. This role involves disassembling and setting up production equipment, cleaning equipment using COP and CIP systems, verifying proper cleaning and set-up, managing sanitation supplies, and operating material handling equipment. The associate will also monitor and test chemical concentrations in CIP systems, maintain CIP Chart Recorders, document information on charts and logs, and use bioluminescence technology for verification. Adherence to the plant's Master Cleaning Schedule, basic troubleshooting of sanitation equipment, and training new associates are key aspects of this position. The role also requires maintaining a safe and orderly work area according to GMP and Safety guidelines, operating Rich's SCADA system, completing paperwork, and performing other assigned duties. Training in other plant areas, such as the Valve and Pump PM program, may also be required.
