About The Position

Inovata Foods is seeking a full-time Production Associate for their Tillsonburg, Ontario facility. This role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness required in a food manufacturing environment, ensuring the production of wholesome and convenient meals for North America's largest retailers. The position reports directly to the Production Manager and offers the stability of a large company with a family business feel.

Requirements

  • Night shift availability
  • Availability for occasional Saturday work
  • Must participate actively at providing a safe and clean environment for all employees at Inovata Foods.
  • Responsible for reporting any damaged equipment because of sanitation practices.
  • Responsible to accurately complete all paperwork generated for the HACCP and SQF programs in place for the equipment that they clean.
  • Works with fellow Sanitation employees in their day-to-day activities based on available resources and to promote teamwork in the department.
  • Works with the Sanitation Supervisor to ensure that the Environmental program is performed as written, following up on all results as required with the Quality Specialist.
  • Ensures that equipment is clean by performing a post-sanitation inspection, and that equipment is clean prior to the commencement of production operations.
  • Adhere to all GMPs, Food Safety and Food Quality programs (SQF, HACCP) as mentioned in our written programs to produce the safe and good quality product for our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the general state of cleanliness of the production, boxing, and warehouse facilities.
  • Follow written Cleaning Protocols to ensure equipment is cleaned properly.
  • Provide assistance with the cleanliness of the lunchroom, washrooms, and locker facilities.
  • Ensure the proper use of all equipment available for use.
  • Follow all company food safety programs, including GMPs, to produce the highest quality product.
  • Actively participate in providing a safe and clean environment for all employees.
  • Report any damaged equipment resulting from sanitation practices.
  • Accurately complete all paperwork generated for HACCP and SQF programs for cleaned equipment.
  • Assist in the maintenance of good employee relations through ongoing communication.
  • Work with fellow Sanitation employees in day-to-day activities, based on available resources and to promote teamwork.
  • Work with the Sanitation Supervisor to ensure the Environmental program is performed as written, following up on all results with the Quality Specialist.
  • Ensure equipment is clean by performing a post-sanitation inspection and verifying cleanliness prior to production.
  • Adhere to all GMPs, Food Safety, and Food Quality programs (SQF, HACCP).
  • Perform other related duties as required.
