The Sanitation Aide is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within the kitchen area. This includes the proper operation and maintenance of dish machines, washing various kitchenware such as glasses, dishes, pots, and pans, and ensuring the overall neatness and cleanliness of the kitchen at all times. Key duties involve handling spills, sweeping broken items, emptying and sanitizing trash cans, and adhering to all MSDS and safety guidelines. The role also requires flexibility to assist in other kitchen areas, including plating for banquet events, and a willingness to work varying schedules that may include nights, weekends, and holidays. A high work ethic, self-initiative, and a team-oriented approach are essential for this position.
