About The Position
This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Tasks include cleaning and sanitizing production equipment. All team members will be trained on cleaning solutions prior to starting job. Tyson is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Requirements
- Must be able to work in wet conditions.
- Must be able to climb stairs and ladders.
- Must be able to walk for long periods of time.
- Must wear all PPE (personal protective equipment) at all times.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to work all areas of the plant.
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs. or more.
- Must be Lock Out Tag Out trained.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and sanitizing production equipment.
- Operating high pressure water hose for long periods of time.
- Breaking apart and reassembling equipment, belts, hoses, and other parts as needed for sanitarian duties.
- Performing any other duties as assigned by supervisor or member or management.
