About The Position

Requirements
- Valid Wisconsin nursing license.
- SANE training required.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to a flexible, on-call schedule.
Nice To Haves
- SANE certification is desired but not mandatory.
- Experience in emergency nursing or related clinical settings preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to support patients and collaborate with team members.
Responsibilities
- Deliver specialized sexual assault nursing care to patients in the emergency department.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient support and follow-up.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and forensic evidence collection.
- Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives related to SANE services.
- Provide compassionate emotional support to patients and families during sensitive situations.
