About The Position

We strive to develop strong connections within the communities we serve. CC Holdings is currently seeking friendly, motivated, and detail-oriented individuals to join our highly skilled growing team! Full-time & Part-time sandwich artist/cashier/CSR positions are now being filled at our Nature’s Table Civic Plaza located in the Indianapolis International Airport. Shifts available seven days a week 5:00 am – 8:30 pm (shifts vary). Must have a valid driver's license to receive a parking pass. The sandwich artist is responsible for assembling sandwiches, wraps, salads, and protein bowls while following recipes and adhering to NT standards. Orders are prepared in a timely, efficient, sanitary, and consistent manner. The sandwich maker maintains and stocks their station and follows all food safety requirements. As a cashier, you are responsible for processing cash, debit, and credit card transactions on a point-of-sale system. Cashiers balance the cash drawer, make change, and enter purchases. Customer service skills are required. Starting rate up to $17.00 an hour, PLUS tips! If you are looking for a fun, fast-paced environment, this is the opportunity for you!!

Requirements

Arrives in proper uniform and adheres to all grooming standards.
Knowledge of methods and procedures for serving food, principles of sanitation, and principles of safe food handling required.
Effective communication skills.
Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.
Attention to detail in all areas of work.
Superior time management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
Has the ability to deal with changes.
Willingness to assist in other tasks when asked.
Must have valid driver's license to receive a parking pass.

Nice To Haves

Prior sandwich artist, cashier and CSR experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Assembling sandwiches, wraps, salads, and protein bowls while following recipes and adhering to NT standards.
Preparing orders in a timely, efficient, sanitary, and consistent manner.
Maintaining and stocking their station.
Following all food safety requirements.
Processing cash, debit, and credit card transactions on a point-of-sale system.
Balancing the cash drawer, making change, and entering purchases.
Setting up station according to cafe guidelines.
Preparing all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
Following portion control and presentation specifications.
Restocking all items as needed throughout shift.
Cleaning and maintaining station in practicing good safety, sanitation, and organizational skills.
Properly using and maintaining all equipment in station.
Preparing dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerance.
Ensuring quality and safety of food by performing standard and any additional sanitary measures including sweeping of the floors, cleaning of surfaces, as well as proper covering and storage of food items according to standards and procedures.
Working at an efficient and consistent pace.
Following all cash handling procedures as outlined.
Assisting in financial accountability by correctly recording orders, receiving/giving change, and counting the drawer.
Thanking the customers and inviting them to return.
Acting as a role model with customers and staff, and helping provide on-the-job training for new barista/cashier.
Working with others in a team to support operations, standards, and concept essence.
Suggestive selling and keeping customers informed and aware of products, promotions, and other services.
