Full-time & Part-time Sandwich Artist/Cashier/CSR positions are now being filled at our Cafe located in the IU School of Medicine. Shifts available, 6:00 am – 7:00 pm (shifts vary). The sandwich artist is responsible for assembling sandwiches, wraps, salads, and protein bowls while following recipes and adhering to the standards. Orders are prepared in a timely, efficient, sanitary, and consistent manner. The sandwich maker maintains and stocks their station and follows all food safety requirements. As a cashier, you are responsible for processing cash, debit, and credit card transactions on a point-of-sale system. Cashiers balance the cash drawer, make change, and enter purchases. Customer service skills are required. Starting rate of 13 and up an hour, depending on experience! If you are looking for a fun, fast-paced environment, this is the opportunity for you!! Responsibilities

Assembling sandwiches, wraps, salads, and protein bowls while following recipes and adhering to the standards.
Preparing orders in a timely, efficient, sanitary, and consistent manner.
Maintaining and stocking their station.
Following all food safety requirements.
Processing cash, debit, and credit card transactions on a point-of-sale system.
Balancing the cash drawer, making change, and entering purchases.
Arriving in proper uniform and adhering to all grooming standards.
Setting up station according to cafe guidelines.
Processing sales transactions.
Entering/Scanning all items purchased by guest.
Accepting payments and returning change when required by payment.
Maintaining adequate change in the cash drawer and requesting additional change from management.
Answering guest questions about products and services.
Reconciling cash drawer.
Reporting issues with point-of-sale equipment/processes.
Restocking all items as needed throughout shift.
Cleaning and maintaining station in practicing good safety, sanitation, and organizational skills.
Working at an efficient and consistent pace.
Willingness to assist in other tasks when asked.
