Responsible for maintaining, setting up, food production, and quality control of all meat, fish, fowl, and other food items prepared in Sandcastles Kitchen. The individual must possess good working knowledge of the fundamentals of broiler, sauté, and fry cooking, as well as accepted standards of sanitation. They should also have knowledge of operating all kitchen equipment, basic mathematical skills for recipes and measurements, and sufficient manual dexterity for using kitchen tools. The ability to grasp, lift, and carry goods weighing up to 200 lbs is also required, along with the ability to perform duties in confined spaces. Employees may be required to work varying schedules and hours to reflect the staffing needs of the hotel.
