About The Position

This role is responsible for processing, making, and shipping samples accurately while meeting production standards. The Sample Maker will handle tasks such as putting up sample stock, running and applying labels, pulling sample orders, beveling carpet, and entering shipments into SAP. Additional duties include listing and restocking returns, unpacking and sorting samples, and pulling and stacking tile boxes weighing up to 50 lbs on pallets for vendor shipments. The position requires pulling, packing, and shipping the required number of parcels per shift, along with performing other duties as instructed by the supervisor.

Requirements

Must be able to operate an electric pallet jack.
Must be able to drive a Stand-Up Lift Truck.
Must be able to type.
Must lift and move tile boxes weighing 50 lbs.
Good reading and math skills.
Basic Computer skills (SAP).
Must work flexible hours.
Must have good communication skills and must be able to work independently.
Must be able to work overtime on short notice.
Must be able to demonstrate ability to work in and operate a high lift.
Must have had no written warnings (for any reason) in the last 18 months.
Must be willing to complete a 90 day probationary period.

Responsibilities

Process, make and ship samples accurately while meeting production standards.
Put up Sample Stock.
Run labels, Label Samples and pull Sample Orders.
Bevel Carpet.
Enter shipments into SAP.
List and restock returns.
Unpack boxes and sort samples.
Pull tile boxes weighing up to 50 lbs and stack on pallets for vendor shipments.
Pull, pack and ship the required number of parcels per shift.
Perform other duties as instructed by the supervisor.
