About The Position

This position is responsible for sample receipt, preparation of samples, and shipping-related duties for all clients in support of the Sample Logistics Team. It also includes administrative functions.

Requirements

Excellent attention to detail
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
Ability to work independently as well as engage others when required in escalation of concerns to meet the client needs or to best manage client disappointments
Energetic and keen with a positive attitude who thrives in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking, prioritizing and adapting to changes are required
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
Availability for shift work, OT and weekend work required

Responsibilities

Greet all clients in a friendly, positive manner
Receive all external client samples
Unpack samples and organize them according to analytical requirements
Ensure client samples are entered into LIMS and approved in a timely manner according to sample holding time, test code, due date, and/or received date
Ensure all required samples are redirected as required
Prepare bottle order requests and coordinate delivery of bottle orders
Provide support to the Sample Login team
Ensure accuracy of results and data entry
Recognize routine and non-routine problems and escalate to the Supervisor
Ensure supply inventories are maintained
Proactively ensure overall satisfaction of regional client base including communication to Project Management and Supervisor as appropriate
Monitor/Calibrate the temperatures of fridges, thermometers and temperature guns
Adhere to Bureau Veritas’ quality systems QA/QC, SOPs and external accreditation requirements
Adhere to Bureau Veritas’ safety policies
Ensure “Good Housekeeping” standards are met or exceeded
All other responsibilities as assigned
