About The Position

Belle Aire Creations is seeking a capable Sample Lead to support increasing business activity and continued success. Sample Leads are specialists focused on validating incoming raw materials through the production process and into finished goods. This role utilizes current production processes and various programs to ensure compliance, and manages scheduling lists for sample orders. The Sample Lead will support the fragrance manufacturing process in collaboration with Production Staff, Purchasing, Logistics, Customer Service, Planning, and sample fulfillment staff. Sample Leads report to the Senior Operations Manager of their respective shift, under the direction of the Senior Quality Manager.

Requirements

High School Diploma required.
3-year relevant experience in QC, production lab, or analytical lab environment.
Excellent oral and written proficiency in the English language.
Knowledge of Good manufacturing processes (GMP’s).
Ability to work well under pressure.
Deadline oriented.
Proficiency in using common PC applications.
Excellent ability to work with others.
Apply principles of rational systems to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, visual, or schedule form.
Vocalize and explain detailed data and problem-solve, both in-person and by telephone.
Must have good communication skills (both verbal and written).
Compose routine correspondence on own initiative.
Make comprehensive notes in English.
Must have ability to work well under pressure.
Send follow-up emails and provide requested documentation to other departments.
Maintain clear and timely communication with other departments, providing status updates as needed.
Assist with work scheduling as directed by the Quality Manager.
Collaborate effectively with team members and provide support as needed.
Must be able to lift 40-lbs onto waist high shelves.
Must be able to lift and carry a min of 25lbs.
Employee will frequently use fingers, walk and distinguish basic colors.
Employee will continuously use both hands, sit for extended periods of time, and use rapid or well-developed coordination simultaneously.
Must be able to hear and understand work direction in a loud, distracting environment.
Must be able to judge distance, identify details, and view computer screen regularly.

Associate or bachelor degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with scheduling sample work as directed by Operations managers.
Serve as the point of contact for the 3rd shift sample lab to Senior managers of the operations department.
Responsible for sample compounder productivity by regular reporting to Operations managers.
Expedite operations that delay schedules and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
Responsible for updating all edits to the brief as communicated by Customer Service and fulfilment teams.
Responsible for ordering all materials essential for sample process functionality.
Oversee proper disposal of expired materials/products.
Implementation of safe work practices.
Adhere to Belle Aire Creations PTO policy.
