Requirements

  • No experience required! - training is provided
  • Good communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
  • Ability to learn procedures and to use a computer for communication, training, and record tracking
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
  • Ability to wear safety and protective gear including scrubs, lab coat, respirator, safety glasses, gloves, protective shoes in a manufacturing environment
  • Minimum of high school diploma, or equivalent
  • Reliable, hardworking team player
  • Positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to learn and work in a team environment
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and ensure instruments and pipettes are in a valid and proper GMP state
  • Maintain and adhere to Sample Submission office hours
  • Responsible for maintaining the department ordering database, ordering supplies, and creating, maintaining and tracking POs for services and items via SAP and SRM
  • Provide support for Open Lab data reporting, data entry, and support tasks for data results management
  • Labeling and barcoding reagents/chemicals
  • Follow and adhere to specific documentation (e.g. Sampling Tables, Inspection Plans, Incident Report Investigations, Specifications, etc)
  • Assist and support the maintenance of an electronic database for clinical and development samples from entry through disposal status, as a business continuity plan
  • Initiate timely discrepancies following site rules and documentation for any sample integrity violations or sample suitability issues / notify Lab manager and / or supervisors
