About The Position

Nova Biomedical is seeking a skilled Salvage PCB Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on the salvage and repair of Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), ensuring they are refurbished to a high standard. The specialist will work with various tools, including soldering equipment, and utilize Windows applications for testing. A key aspect of this role involves adhering to established procedures for salvage and testing, as well as contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The position may involve working with potentially biohazardous materials.

Requirements

• 1-2 years soldering experience.
• Hand soldering per IPC standards.
• Experience in Manufacturing.
• Must be able to work using a microscope.
• The ability to read and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Read, follow, and explain the procedures being used.
• Use a variety of hand tools, including soldering equipment, and computers.
• Understand quality control and recognize defects.
• Communicate effectively with supervision and engineering.
• Understand and complete paperwork correctly.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement activities.
• Review board assemblies for salvage and refurbish as necessary.
• Work with Windows applications to test devices.
