About The Position

The Salt Company Director will lead the Salt Company with clarity, unity, and a passion for disciple-making and sending. This role involves leading Salt Company staff, managing communication, overseeing finances, and contributing to Cornerstone Church responsibilities and the broader Salt Network mission.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with select staff for discipleship and coaching.
  • Organize and lead staff gatherings (Salt staff meetings, leader retreats, etc.).
  • Recruit, hire staff and create clarity around their roles (including D Group with potential staff).
  • Model the way in shared Salt staff assignments (515, leader names, D Group).
  • Develop and grow a mobilizing pipeline of Salt Directors, leading women and men in ministry for the Network.
  • Create preaching content and schedule, and serve as the primary preacher.
  • Develop and communicate a compelling vision for staff and student leaders.
  • Plan and teach (or oversee) Leader Nights and Captains meetings.
  • Oversee the air-war team to ensure consistent messaging and culture.
  • Maintain, train and develop support-raising goals for yourself and your staff.
  • Monitor Salt Company income and expenses (budget oversight).
  • Drive general fundraising efforts (call nights, give-backs, senior suppers, etc.).
  • Participate in Cornerstone Director meetings and represent Salt Company.
  • Preach and teach at Cornerstone weekend services as needed.
  • Contribute to church-wide creative vision through Air War Meetings.
  • Champion the 403 - recruit, develop and send staff and students to be part of the mission.
  • Strategically teach or train at partner Salt Companies to bolster the mission.
  • Contribute to strategic partner networks or churches as you mobilize towards your own church plant.
