Requirements
- Completion of cosmetology schooling and four years of related experience is required.
- Valid state Cosmetology License required for each procedure performed.
- Colorado Identification Card.

Responsibilities
- Consults with clients to fully understand desired service and final look requested; sets expectations for results and upkeep needed for particular treatments and styles.
- Shampoos, conditions, and dries hair, and applies other products to hair to aid in straightening, curling, or styling.
- Cuts, trims, and styles hair or hair pieces according to client’s wishes.
- Waxes, bleaches, shapes, shaves, or trims facial hair.
- Colors, highlights, or perms hair according to client’s wishes.
- Schedules and performs manicures and pedicures.
- Maintains clean, safe, and sanitized work areas.
- Drafts and designs advertising strategies as needed or requested.
- Creates and maintains service records for clients.
- Manages payment reconciliation and reporting to the business office.
- Attends trainings as requested.
