About The Position

Marin Luxury Cars, Land Rover Marin, and Lotus San Francisco is seeking an experienced Automotive Sales Associate to join their established luxury automotive sales team. This opportunity is designed for an automotive sales professional who already understands the dealership business, knows how to build and maintain a client base, and is motivated by high earning potential. You’ll have the opportunity to represent prestigious luxury automotive brands while working with discerning clientele in a professional, relationship-driven dealership environment. This is a commission-based sales position with significant earning potential for experienced automotive sales professionals. Your success and earning potential will be driven by your ability to generate business, build relationships, follow up with customers, and close sales.

Requirements

  • Previous automotive dealership sales experience is REQUIRED.
  • Automotive dealership sales experience is required
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

  • Ability to work a flexible dealership schedule, including weekends
  • Must be able to successfully complete any required background and employment screening

  • Occasional need to bend, stoop, reach, or crouch to access vehicle interiors, dashboards, or trunks.
  • Ability to navigate outdoor lot areas in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 10–25 lbs occasionally (e.g., marketing materials, license plates, car accessories, point-of-sale materials).
  • Rare lifting of up to 40 lbs may be required (battery jump box, display items), but accommodations may be available depending on job structure.
  • Ability to operate dealership vehicles safely for customer test drives and vehicle relocation.
  • Requires valid driver’s license and ability to visually inspect vehicles for quality and safety.
  • Must be able to read pricing, contracts, and digital screens.
  • Ability to speak clearly with customers, coworkers, and management in person and over phone/electronic systems.
  • Must be able to hear and respond to customer questions, sales calls, and safety instructions in busy or noisy dealership environments.
  • Work is performed both indoors and outdoors; must be able to tolerate temperature changes when showing cars on the lot.
  • Potential exposure to vehicle fumes, dust, and typical dealership noise levels.
  • Must be able to focus, recall product information, and accurately communicate vehicle features and pricing.
  • Ability to use computers, tablets, and electronic sales systems.
  • This position requires the ability to stand and walk for extended periods; enter and exit vehicles repeatedly; lift and move up to 25 lbs. occasionally; and work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. The employee must be able to operate dealership vehicles safely, communicate with customers effectively, and utilize computer-based sales systems.   • Deliver a personalized, concierge-level buying experience
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales and customer satisfaction goals
  • Work collaboratively with management, finance, service, and other dealership departments
