About The Position

RCG, Inc. is seeking a Salesforce Technical Project Manager to support a potential contract with Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) in Northern Virginia. This is a full-time position supporting an active proposal. If the contract is won, the Project Manager will lead a team of technical experts in the implementation of Salesforce at CBP. The role requires a self-starter with a strong technical understanding of Salesforce, who is focused on Agile program management and supporting cross-functional technical teams.

Requirements

BS degree in computer science or related field.
8 – 10 years experience with Salesforce
3 – 5 years experience as a Project Manager
Ability to obtain a BI (Tier 5) background investigation.
Minimum 4+ years of experience supporting a civilian federal government agency
Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high level of professionalism
Must be a U.S. CITIZEN

Nice To Haves

A certification in project management from a recognized credentialing agency (e.g., Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or Program Management Professional from the Project Management Institute is preferred.
MS Degree in a related field is a plus but not required.

Deliver solutions to produce and/or migrate legacy applications to new modern platforms.
Meet with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items as well as effectively execute those items in accordance with approved plans.
Ensure a fully functional and productive team, enable close cooperation across all roles and functions, shield the team from external interferences and remove barriers, facilitate daily scrums/project meetings, communicate information outside the team, keep the team focused on the tasks at hand, and conduct stakeholder management.
