Salesforce Technical Lead

Fundingo
•$130,000 - $160,000•Remote

About The Position

Fundingo is a loan servicing platform built natively on Salesforce. Its customers are lenders and loan servicers who use Fundingo to manage day-to-day operations. The delivery team works directly with customers to build custom implementations, integrations, and data migrations tailored to their businesses. The Salesforce Technical Lead sets technical direction for delivery projects. This hands-on technical leadership role focuses primarily on development in Apex and Lightning Web Components, alongside architecture decisions, Git-based development processes, code standards, code review, and directing developers’ work on assigned projects. The balance between hands-on development and leadership varies with project complexity and team needs. The role includes technical discovery and design with customers, coordination with implementation specialists, business analysts, project managers, customer IT teams, and outside vendors, and participation in sales conversations and internal strategy discussions. The lead directs project developers but is not their people manager; developers do not report to this role, and it does not handle time-off requests. This is not an administrator or configuration role. The position is fully remote with a distributed team. The offered package includes competitive compensation based on experience and market, full coverage of employee medical and dental premiums, a 401(k) with maximum match that vests as you go, and 15 paid holidays per year.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of hands-on Salesforce development with Apex, SOQL, and Lightning Web Components.

  • Strong command of Salesforce DX, source-tracked development, and sandbox strategy.
  • Expert knowledge of Git and experience setting up and enforcing a branching and pull-request workflow for one or more development teams.
  • Extensive code review experience and a clear, well-reasoned point of view on code quality, standards, and testing.
  • Mastery of governor limits, bulkification, and performance tuning.
  • Excellent communication skills across engineers, project managers, executives, prospective clients, and non-technical business users.
  • Experience mentoring developers and raising a team’s skill level.
