About The Position

The Salesforce Solutions Architect serves as a senior technical leader responsible for guiding enterprise Salesforce architecture, governance, integrations, security, and modernization initiatives across complex business and technology environments. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams to design scalable, secure, and sustainable Salesforce solutions while supporting platform optimization, compliance, data governance, and long-term enterprise architecture strategy.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience working with Salesforce platforms in enterprise environments.
  • 7+ years of experience working within Microsoft environments, including Azure and Dynamics platforms.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce platform capabilities, including Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Salesforce Flow, and validation rules.
  • 7+ years of experience working with the Snowflake data platform.
  • 7+ years of experience supporting Tableau analytics integrations and reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide enterprise-level Salesforce architecture guidance across Salesforce GovCloud, Experience Cloud, Public Sector Solutions, and related platform technologies.
  • Review and recommend scalable, secure, and maintainable technical designs for Salesforce applications, integrations, automations, and enterprise data flows.
  • Guide development teams on best practices for Salesforce objects, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flow, APIs, validation rules, custom metadata, and security models.
  • Support enterprise modernization initiatives, transition planning efforts, and cross-application dependency management.
  • Evaluate technical risks, prevent unnecessary technical debt, and promote reusable enterprise architecture patterns and shared services.
  • Document architecture decisions, technical risks, assumptions, tradeoffs, dependencies, and recommendations for leadership and project stakeholders.
  • Participate in architecture reviews, sprint planning, release readiness assessments, and technical design discussions.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Integration, Product, Application Development, Database Administration, and Production Support teams.
  • Provide guidance on DevOps practices, deployment sequencing, sandbox strategy, release management, regression testing, and post-deployment validation.
  • Support code review efforts for Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flow, integrations, and platform configurations.
  • Analyze and mitigate Salesforce performance risks related to governor limits, data volumes, asynchronous processing, record locking, and batch processing.
  • Research and communicate upcoming Salesforce platform, licensing, security, and enterprise architecture changes, including associated risks and opportunities.
  • Mentor technical teams and provide knowledge transfer, architecture guidance, and leadership presentations to stakeholders and management.
  • Review and recommend secure access models involving profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, role hierarchy, delegated administration, and internal/external user access.
  • Support security and compliance controls for sensitive data including PII, PHI, provider records, assessments, files, and regulated enterprise information.
  • Advise on platform security enhancements including MFA, IP restrictions, transaction security policies, DKIM verification, and related security mandates.
  • Identify and mitigate compliance and security risks associated with shared objects, legacy access patterns, and production support changes.
  • Design and review enterprise integration patterns using REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, Platform Events, CDC, event-driven architecture, and batch processing.
  • Provide guidance on data synchronization, source-of-truth ownership, duplicate prevention, integration monitoring, and enterprise data movement strategies.
  • Partner with integration and production support teams to perform root cause analysis and recommend corrective actions for complex technical issues.
  • Support data governance initiatives involving data masking, tokenization, conditional visibility, and lower-environment data protection.
  • Assist with Data 360 / Data Cloud planning, identity resolution, data harmonization, ingestion strategies, and platform optimization initiatives.
  • Review data catalog outputs and support decisions regarding enterprise reporting, segmentation, calculated insights, and activation strategies.
  • Evaluate licensing implications and platform usage considerations related to Public Sector Solutions, Experience Cloud, and Customer Community environments.
  • Perform additional architecture, governance, and technical leadership responsibilities as assigned.
