Salesforce Solution Architect

Ness Digital Engineering
Hybrid

About The Position

This is a senior, client-facing architecture role at the centre of our Salesforce practice. It is a deliberately hybrid position — part business analyst, part solution architect, part strategist — for someone who can sit with client leadership, elicit and challenge requirements, translate them into a solution design, and hold a multi-year transformation vision at the same time. You will lead delivery pods on complex Salesforce and NetSuite engagements, orchestrate the specialists around you, and run the client relationship at a senior level. A strong bias toward out-of-the-box, vanilla Salesforce is essential; custom code is the exception that must be justified, not the default. Between engagements you will help shape the practice itself — reusable patterns, hiring calibration and mentorship. Position is a hybrid role in Atlanta, Georgia.

Requirements

  • Roughly 20+ years in the Salesforce ecosystem, with genuine depth across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and out-of-the-box platform capability.
  • A blend of business-analysis, solution-architecture and strategy skills in one person — comfortable moving between a leadership conversation and a design decision.
  • A track record of documenting requirements and solution designs clearly, and of running client relationships at a senior level.
  • Strong instinct for vanilla-first design and the judgement to know when a deviation is genuinely warranted.
  • US-based, able to work in the US time zone and to travel to client sites up to around two weeks per month.

Nice To Haves

  • Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or comparable architecture certifications.
  • Exposure to NetSuite and to Salesforce–ERP reconciliation.
  • Experience across enterprise B2B environments such as manufacturing, industrial or financial services

Responsibilities

  • Lead solution architecture across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and the wider platform on enterprise engagements, favouring standard, configurable capability.
  • Elicit, challenge and document business requirements with client stakeholders, and translate them into clear user stories and solution designs.
  • Own the as-is assessment and the future-state architecture and roadmap, keeping immediate stabilisation and longer-term scalability coherent.
  • Run senior client governance and cadence, surfacing decisions and giving leadership a picture they can plan against.
  • Orchestrate functional consultants and developers within the delivery pod, advising on configuration and incremental development.
  • Apply the practice's engineering tooling to ground assessment and remediation in evidence rather than assumption.
  • Contribute to practice assets, patterns and mentorship, and coordinate with client and partner architecture teams.
