About The Position

Serve as a strategic advisor and Salesforce solution and platform expert to the company’s largest, most complex Public Sector clients. Lead solution design across business and technology domains, translating client needs into scalable, maintainable Salesforce architectures. Play a key role in both presales and delivery, shaping, scoping, and solutioning engagements to position customers for long-term success. Provide solution oversight and delivery leadership on large-scale, mission-critical programs, ensuring alignment to business outcomes and technical standards. Serve as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders, guiding decision-making across business process, data, integration, and platform capabilities. Drive solution excellence by aligning business requirements to Salesforce capabilities, industry accelerators, and best practices. Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and technical architects to design end-to-end solutions across Salesforce clouds and integrated systems. Lead fit-gap analysis and recommend optimal approaches leveraging configuration, integration, and custom development as needed. Guide teams on solution patterns, integration strategies, data models, and automation design. Identify and proactively manage solution risks, dependencies, and trade-offs, ensuring issues are resolved through completion. Review and ensure quality of key deliverables, including solution designs, architecture diagrams, and functional specifications. Work closely with Delivery Managers and Project Managers to ensure successful execution within scope, budget, and timeline expectations. Contribute to practice growth through thought leadership, accelerators, and reusable solution assets. Provide mentorship and guidance to delivery teams, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture. Ability to commute to client or corporate offices within the Washington, DC metropolitan area as the practice needs.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is contractually required
  • Minimum of SEVEN (7) years of Salesforce solution architecture or consulting experience, including end-to-end solution design and delivery
  • Bachelor's degree is required (Relevant experience may be substituted for formal education or advanced degree)
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform capabilities, including Sales, Service, Experience, and/or Public Sector Solutions
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable solution designs, including data models, integrations, and automation
  • Experience leading fit-gap analysis and solutioning workshops with business and technical stakeholders
  • Ability to design and optimize business processes enabled by Salesforce and integrated technologies
  • Strong understanding of integration patterns, data migration considerations, and enterprise architecture principles
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical solutions to both business and technical audiences
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across large organizations
  • Experience working in Agile or Hybrid-Agile delivery environments
  • Familiarity with and ability to leverage AI-enabled tools and accelerators to enhance solution design, requirements analysis, data insights, and delivery efficiency

Nice To Haves

  • Salesforce certifications such as Application Architect, System Architect, or Certified Technical Architect (CTA) track
  • Strong presentation and storytelling skills, including executive-level communications
  • Experience supporting public sector digital transformation initiatives (Federal, State, Local)
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Public Sector Solutions (“Agentforce Public Sector”)
  • Experience with OmniStudio, Flow, and low-code/no-code automation capabilities
  • Experience designing solutions that incorporate data migration, data governance, and reporting/analytics strategies
  • Familiarity with integration tools and platforms (e.g., MuleSoft)
  • Experience contributing to proposals, RFP responses, and presales solutioning
