About The Position

We are seeking a Salesforce QA Automation Engineer for a 6-month contract position. This role is hybrid, requiring 3 days a week in our New York, NY 10285 office. The ideal candidate will have mandatory automation skills in Java/Xpath/CSS.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3–6 years of QA experience, with at least 2+ years in Salesforce test automation.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce, including the data model, Apex, LWC, Flows, and Process Builder.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Cucumber, Karate, Selenium WebDriver, or similar.
• Prioritize recent hands-on experience with Selenium, Cucumber, and Playwright.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Experience testing Salesforce REST and SOAP APIs.
• Familiarity with TestRail, Xray, or Salesforce test automation frameworks.
• Working knowledge of Git, Jenkins, or other CI/CD tools.
• Experience writing SOQL queries for test validation and troubleshooting.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to read and debug Apex code and LWC is preferred but not mandatory.
• Salesforce DX and scratch org workflows.
• Performance or load testing experience.
• Salesforce QA or Platform Developer certifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for Salesforce applications.
• Execute automated tests and analyze results.
• Identify, document, and track defects.
• Collaborate with development and business teams to ensure quality.
• Write SOQL queries for test validation and troubleshooting.
• Test Salesforce REST and SOAP APIs.
