Salesforce Platform Engineer, Mid
About The Position
At the intersection of technical expertise and platform engineering lies the role of a Salesforce Platform Engineer. When you've built and supported Salesforce solutions and can contribute to development, integrations, automation, and platform improvements while ensuring quality, scalability, and maintainability, you are ready to grow with our team. As a Salesforce Platform Engineer on our team, you'll spend most of your time designing, building, and deploying Salesforce solutions, while also owning meaningful quality responsibility for your teammates' work. This is a hybrid role for engineers who want to own both sides of build and validation rather than handing all work off to QA engineers. You'll work closely with a Quality-focused counterpart on the team, and over time you'll build the range to step into either seat as the team needs. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with Salesforce platform delivery, including Flow, Apex, and Lightning Web Components
- Experience developing, testing, debugging, and deploying Salesforce solutions
- Experience committing code and metadata to Git repositories
- Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools and practices, including GitHub, or Salesforce DX
- Experience writing and maintaining unit tests and supporting regression testing
- Knowledge of Salesforce integration patterns, APIs, and data models
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of the Salesforce development lifecycle
- Bachelor’s degree, or 5+ years of experience in software engineering in lieu of degree
- U.S. citizenship is required
Nice To Haves
- Experience supporting Sales Cloud and Agentforce implementations
- Experience with code reviews, peer collaboration, and technical documentation
- Experience troubleshooting complex Salesforce platform issues
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated Salesforce deployments
- Possession of strong verbal and written communication skills
- Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder Certification, or Salesforce Platform Developer Certification
