About The Position

The IT Business Analyst is responsible for participating in the planning, development, maintenance, and enhancement of the functional areas of application packages. They are assigned to teams within an assigned business unit and independently utilize various client/server platforms. Individuals assist in collaborating with company customers, staff, IT and other stakeholders to identify user requirements, assess available technologies, and recommend solution options. They assist in assessing business objectives and design business processes for low to medium level objectives in such a way that they may be effectively modeled, configured and measured within the package application environment. Individuals assist in communicating application package capabilities and possibilities to designated functional areas, while seeking ways to collaborate with IT members to facilitate transition to and support of the application package.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in management information systems, or Business Administration with an emphasis in a specific technology area or equivalent work experience and technical training
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Agile product teams leveraging Jira
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience supporting Salesforce solutions
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, proficient in the ability to express low to medium level technical concepts in business terms
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work well on cross-functional project teams and foster team commitment to tasks
  • Minimal project management skills

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator certification
  • Preferred experience with current Salesforce solutions, including customer LWC and LWR development on Sales Experience Cloud.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, refine, and move stories in Jira along the journey with our delivery team to achieve the definition of done for all work items prioritized within a product team sprint cycle.
  • Create and maintain our knowledge management documents and protocols for self-service and Tier I/II support teams
  • Participating in Product Team Agile ceremonies
  • Assist in the formulation of and definition of application scope and objectives and devise/modify procedures to solve complex business problems
  • Assist in gathering, analyzing, and delivering business requirements for system changes, enhancements, and defect resolution.
  • Assist with specifying, defining, and validating business reports.
  • Develop business relationships with other departments to ensure successful implementation and support efforts
  • Develop and maintain good relationships with customers and IT colleagues to meet expected customer service levels
  • Develop, coordinate, and execute appropriate unit (functional), integration and volume tests to ensure successful implementation and support efforts for production releases.
