About The Position

Weave is seeking a highly experienced, strategic, and hands-on Salesforce Development Manager & Systems Architect based in the United States to lead its US-aligned development pod, guide technical architecture, and partner across the business to drive outcomes. The role leads, mentors, and manages a small US-based group of Salesforce administrators and quality engineers while collaborating daily with an India-based development team and company leadership. It also serves as a trusted technical consultant to business stakeholders, product managers, and business systems leadership, designing a scalable, streamlined, performant, and maintainable Salesforce landscape. The position shares global leadership responsibilities with the Salesforce Development Manager in India, oversees the US team's development and performance, and acts as its primary technical escalation point. It guides enterprise architecture across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, CPQ, Billing, and related support and finance systems. The role advises cross-functional and executive stakeholders, translates business goals into system designs, and balances near-term business returns with long-term platform health. The architect provides oversight of Salesforce CPQ and Billing, including product catalogues, pricing rules, billing schedules, revenue recognition, and audit-ready data flows to downstream ERP and general-ledger systems. The role also defines Salesforce integration approaches using middleware, APIs, event-driven architecture, and contract lifecycle tools, while overseeing code quality, reviews, environments, CI/CD, platform limits, and security guardrails.

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of progressive, hands-on Salesforce development and architecture experience in enterprise SaaS or high-growth environments.
  • At least 2 years of direct people management or formal technical team leadership experience managing developers and/or administrators.
  • Track record architecting complex, multi-cloud Salesforce environments and advising cross-functional business stakeholders.
  • Experience collaborating with globally distributed teams, specifically in US–India cross-regional collaboration.
  • Deep expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, asynchronous processing, and advanced Flow automation, including judgment about when to build custom solutions versus use native platform capabilities.
  • Experience architecting solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Revenue Cloud / CPQ and Billing ecosystems.
  • Background designing REST/SOAP APIs, event-driven integrations such as Platform Events, MuleSoft middleware configurations, and third-party SaaS connectors for ERP, data warehouse, and CLM systems.
  • Hands-on experience with source-driven development using Git, branching strategies, and automated deployment tools.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Salesforce security models, role hierarchies, profile and permission-set architectures, governor limits, and large data volume optimization.
