About The Position
This is a contract staff augmentation opportunity with an Arizona state agency. The selected candidate will work directly with agency staff in a professional environment. SunSoftOnline is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to support the design, development, and architecture of Salesforce Experience Cloud solutions. This role requires strong hands-on Salesforce development experience, deep Experience Cloud expertise, and the ability to lead technical design, development, integrations, and deployment activities. The position is hybrid, with in-office work required about once per week.
Requirements
- 8+ years of Salesforce Developer experience.
- 4+ years of Salesforce Experience Cloud / Communities experience.
- Salesforce Experience Cloud Certification is required.
- Hands-on experience leading end-to-end architecture of Experience Cloud sites.
- Strong experience with Lightning Web Runtime / LWR.
- Expert-level experience with LWC, Apex, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and SLDS.
- Experience with Salesforce CLI, SFDX, CI/CD, and modern DevOps practices.
- Experience with Salesforce security, identity, SSO, sharing models, and external user access.
- Strong integration experience using REST, SOAP, APIs, and Named Credentials.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or Business Administration - OR - Master's degree in Business or Public Administration

Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end architecture and development of Salesforce Experience Cloud sites.
- Design and build scalable solutions using LWR and Aura templates.
- Develop advanced Lightning Web Components optimized for the LWR framework.
- Build and maintain Apex, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, and SLDS-based solutions.
- Design security and identity solutions using External Identity, SSO, sharing rules, Account Relationship Data Sharing, and Apex Managed Sharing.
- Implement Audience Targeting and Salesforce CMS for personalized user experiences.
- Design workflows using Headless Flows and asynchronous Apex.
- Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST, SOAP, Named Credentials, ERP, AWS, Marketing Cloud, and related tools.
- Support Data Cloud integration to provide unified customer profiles and 360-degree views.
- Define and support branching strategies, Salesforce CLI, SFDX, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.
- Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with Salesforce governor limits and scalability standards.
- Translate business requirements into technical user stories.
- Present technical roadmaps and updates to stakeholders and leadership.
- Mentor junior developers and support technical best practices.
