About The Position

As a Salesforce Developer, you will design, develop, and implement customized solutions for government clients. The role focuses on coding, configuring, and integrating Salesforce applications to ensure seamless functionality and optimal performance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, administrators, and other developers, to deliver high-quality solutions that enhance Salesforce implementations.

Requirements

• Hands-on Salesforce development experience, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Components.
• Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model, security model, and platform capabilities.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Proven experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using APIs, middleware, and web services.
• Proficiency in unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization of Salesforce applications.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience varies by level: Salesforce Developer 1 requires a bachelor’s degree and 0 years; Salesforce 2 requires a bachelor’s degree and 2 years or a master’s degree and 0 years; Salesforce 3 requires a bachelor’s degree and 5 years, a master’s degree and 3 years, or a PhD and 0 years; Salesforce 4 requires a bachelor’s degree and 9 years, a master’s degree and 7 years, or a PhD and 4 years; Senior Salesforce Developer requires a bachelor’s degree and 12 years, a master’s degree and 10 years, or a PhD and 8 years.

Nice To Haves

• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer certification.
• Familiarity with Salesforce Developer Experience (DX) for source-driven development and continuous integration.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices and experience working in Agile project environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement custom Apex classes, triggers, and Visualforce pages to address complex business requirements and improve system functionality.
• Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and third-party applications, databases, and systems, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
• Customize Salesforce configurations, workflows, validation rules, and Process Builder to streamline business processes and improve user experience.
• Assist with data migration and data cleansing, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Test and debug Salesforce applications, identify and resolve issues, and ensure reliable functionality.
• Maintain documentation of code, configurations, and integration processes.
• Stay current with Salesforce features, releases, and best practices, and propose and implement improvements to system performance and efficiency.
