  • Experience in Marketing Cloud or strong SQL knowledge.
  • Able to design and develop business solutions leveraging Salesforce declarative programming and administration (custom objects, reports, workflows, assignment rules, flows), working with the stakeholders to define requirements, build, test, UAT, and implement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to communicate technical issues to a non-technical audience.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Demonstrated commitment to data integrity and quality control.
  • Capacity to train staff in foundational data entry techniques and use of CRM tools to develop reports and create dashboards.
  • Previous experience working in a client-facing role.
  • Willingness to further enhance knowledge by taking Salesforce certification exams.

Nice To Haves

  • Salesforce Administrator certification preferred.
  • Experience in a nonprofit organization, particularly with NPSP or Nonprofit Cloud.
  • Knowledge of data migration tools and ETL processes.
  • General nonprofit experience, as well as commitment to the nonprofit sector.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and optimize Salesforce Sales Cloud with Nonprofit Success Pack (NPSP) and Marketing Cloud, including management and implementation of third‑party integrations and the Sales Cloud–Marketing Cloud connection.
  • Handle second-level tickets in the new Nonprofit Cloud (Salesforce NPC).
  • Provide end‑to‑end Salesforce administration and user support across the organization, serving as first‑level support, managing escalations, and delivering troubleshooting and training as needed.
  • Partner with internal departments and external vendors to translate business needs into system enhancements and scalable solutions.
  • Configure and customize Salesforce functionality—including objects, fields, flows, security, page layouts, and user access—to support operational and fundraising requirements.
  • Perform data management and integrity activities, including imports, exports, audits, cleanup, deduplication, and ongoing maintenance of core data objects such as contacts, leads, campaigns, cases, reports, and dashboards.
  • Design, build, and distribute standard and advanced reports and dashboards to support internal decision‑making and external reporting needs.
  • Test system changes, resolve defects, and monitor platform performance to ensure stability, data quality, and reliability.
  • Drive continuous improvement by automating manual processes, enhancing support workflows, expanding self‑service capabilities, and recommending new Salesforce features and best practices.
  • Contribute to cross‑functional initiatives and strategic planning efforts, promoting adoption and effective use of Salesforce across fundraising, marketing, outreach, and volunteer management.
  • Participate in assigned team, departmental, and organizational meetings and events.
