Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Architect to lead the technical architecture, design, and development of enterprise‑grade Salesforce solutions. This role requires a strong combination of hands‑on development expertise, architectural leadership, and the ability to guide teams through complex implementations from inception to production.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in Salesforce configuration and customization
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with: Apex (classes, triggers), Lightning Components
- Strong knowledge of Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- 4+ years of hands‑on experience with Salesforce integrations, particularly REST APIs
- 3+ years of experience with Salesforce Flows, Process Builder, and Workflow
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification
Nice To Haves
- Salesforce Certified Administrator
- Experience working in large, complex, or public‑sector environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills
Responsibilities
- Own the technical architecture, detailed design, and development of Salesforce solutions, contributing both hands‑on and as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
- Lead application design and development across the full lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment and production support.
- Define and drive technology architecture and roadmaps leveraging Salesforce products and best practices, ensuring agility, performance, scalability, and security.
- Design, configure, code, and architect large‑scale Salesforce solutions to meet complex business and technical requirements.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand current needs, define future‑state process models, and recommend optimal solution architectures.
- Coach and mentor junior developers and team members; conduct code reviews to ensure high standards of code quality, maintainability, and security.
- Lead and provide architectural guidance for integrations with provincial digital solutions and other enterprise systems.
- Contribute to architectural project plans, supporting approvals for detailed designs, timelines, and resource estimates.
- Support change initiatives by planning and executing technical architecture‑related activities.
