About The Position

TailorCare is seeking a Salesforce Administrator to join the Care Team Enablement team. This role will focus on building solutions primarily on the Salesforce platform (Seamline product) to enable the care team to serve more patients efficiently. The instance is built on Health Cloud with Sales and Service Cloud capabilities, handling PHI under HIPAA. The administrator will be a hands-on contributor within sprints, responsible for new feature implementation, quality assurance, and maintaining the Salesforce environment. This includes managing users, profiles, permissions, configuring objects and fields, declarative automation, data quality, sandbox management, release support, report building, testing, and collaborating with security and compliance teams.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years administering a production Salesforce org.
  • Strong command of the Salesforce sharing and security model, including org-wide defaults, role hierarchy, sharing rules, and field-level security.
  • Depth in Salesforce configuration (objects, fields, page layouts, record types).
  • Hands-on Flow experience, including debugging flows.
  • Working knowledge of SOQL, Salesforce reporting, and Data Loader or a comparable bulk data tool.
  • Experience supporting a release process across sandboxes.
  • Experience writing and executing manual test plans with UAT coordination.
  • Demonstrated strong ownership of work coupled with an ability to collaborate openly and transparently.

Nice To Haves

  • Health Cloud experience, or experience administering an org holding PHI under HIPAA or comparable regulated data.
  • Exposure to test automation practices.
  • Ability to read Apex and debug logs well enough to route an issue to an engineer.
  • Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM 201).
  • Experience in healthcare and/or startups.

Responsibilities

  • Provision and maintain users, roles, profiles, permission sets, and licenses.
  • Configure objects, fields, page layouts, and record types as new features land.
  • Contribute to declarative automation alongside engineers.
  • Keep data clean through imports, exports, deduplication rules, and field-level data governance.
  • Manage sandboxes and support releases from build through deployment.
  • Build reports, dashboards, and guardrails for business teams to self-serve.
  • Write test plans, run manual regression on Salesforce releases, and coordinate UAT sign-off.
  • Keep the test case library and configuration docs current.
  • Join sprint planning and design discussions, raise Salesforce-side risk early, and execute administrative business requests.
  • Partner with Security and Compliance on least-privilege access design, access reviews, and PHI handling under HIPAA.
