About The Position

This role supports advanced administration, development, and growth of the Salesforce platform within the Conservation & Environment IT Delivery Center. The position ensures security, stability, and alignment with agency goals while helping build internal expertise. As a Salesforce Administrator, you will perform the following duties: Platform Administration: Manage user access, profiles, permission sets, and security controls to maintain data integrity and policy compliance. Data Modeling: Design complex data structures and automation tools that support evolving business needs. Reporting Development: Create and maintain reports and dashboards that provide useful operational and executive insights. Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot advanced platform problems and coordinate solutions to maintain reliable operations. Custom Development: Build and deploy Salesforce components to meet complex agency requirements. Integration Support: Develop and manage secure and sustainable connections with internal and external systems.

Requirements

• One year as an Applications Developer 2 or Computer Programmer 4 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration)
• Five years of information technology experience that includes three years of experience in applications development or applications maintenance
• Three years of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, and an associate’s degree in any information technology field
• One year of information technology experience in applications development or applications maintenance, and a bachelor's degree in any information technology field
• An equivalent combination of experience and training
• One or more years of full-time professional information technology experience developing custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce (where applicable) and Flow
• One or more years of full-time professional information technology experience implementing Salesforce security, including profiles, permission sets, role hierarchy, sharing rules, field-level security, and object-level security
• Meet the PA residency requirement
• Be able to perform essential job functions
