About The Position

The IT Salesforce Administrator/Developer is responsible for creating and maintaining specialized custom code-based development of Salesforce solutions. The individual will work with various business stakeholders to design, develop and create improvements within the applications that extend beyond configuration and low-code options within Salesforce. The ability to work with the business units in gathering requirements, designing a scalable solution, and providing support is crucial in this role. Strategy Collaborate with other business partners, peers and QA team to validate business requirements and develop customized solutions for the business Maintain a flexible and proactive work environment to facilitate a quick response to changing project requirements and customer objectives and innovate ways to meet mission goals successfully. Leadership Manage projects throughout the entire software development life cycle (including technical design, coding, testing, deployment, documentation, and support). Be mentor and display a passion for service ownership, building reliable/self-healing services. Team Development Perform independent code reviews and certify code developed by self and other team members on the project. Work with a cross-functional Scrum team to enhance Salesforce Sales Cloud applications in iterative release cycles, while seeking ways to utilize SFDC to improve processes and productivity and make recommendations to support an organization scaling at a rapid pace. IT Operations Develop in Force.com, Visualforce, Apex, Java, AJAX, Javascript, and other technologies to build customized solutions that support our business requirements and drive our key business decisions. Develop a strong understanding of integrations with Salesforce clouds and assist in implementing new and maintaining existing integrations. Transformation Support the company through early problem detection, idea generation, developing and implementing creative solutions, and advising on industry "best practices." Demonstrates compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities – knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes. Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training. Maintain a working knowledge of Bank's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description. May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert. Actively learns, demonstrates, and fosters the Columbia corporate culture in all actions and words. Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, Vocational Training, or equivalent.
  • 3+ years Salesforce administrator
  • 4+ years Programmer, Developer or Web Engineering
  • Knowledge of application object schema and management of custom objects
  • Knowledge of web coding including APEX, JAVA, HTML, and Lightning Web Components
  • Strong data and systems analysis experience reviewing existing application code and developing custom solutions.
  • Requirements gathering and analysis skills.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills to remediate user reported issues in application.
  • Demonstrates high level of ownership and initiative.
  • Strong communication, organizational and priority setting skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable to evolve with the changing needs of the business.
  • Ability to liaison with non-programmers and ability to communicate with different levels of users
  • Certified Salesforce Developer

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science or related field, or equivalent relevant work experience
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator
