As a Salesfloor Clerk, you will work across multiple departments, assisting with daily tasks, maintaining a clean and safe store, and helping ensure our customers have a great shopping experience. You will report to the Store Manager and Department Managers and check in daily with the Person in Charge (PIC).
Requirements
- Must have night and weekend availability
- Frequently lift up to 20 pounds; occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Stand, walk, bend, twist, and pack bags often; squat or kneel occasionally; climb rarely.
- Work primarily indoors in a climate-controlled environment with occasional outdoor exposure.
Responsibilities
- Provide prompt, friendly service and greet every customer warmly.
- Assist customers with questions, requests, and product guidance.
- Relay customer feedback to managers.
- Stock shelves, endcaps, and displays, keeping products organized and visually appealing.
- Rotate stock, label items accurately, and report price discrepancies.
- Receive deliveries and ensure products are stored correctly.
- Assist with produce, grocery, and wellness stock as needed.
- Check out customers efficiently and accurately, following store procedures.
- Bag and assist customers with purchases as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Handle returns and ensure proper documentation.
- Close and balance cash drawers accurately at the end of your shift.
- Keep shelves, coolers, counters, and bins clean and orderly.
- Maintain bathrooms and department equipment in proper working order.
- Alert PIC or managers to safety concerns, shoplifting, equipment issues, or emergencies.
- Perform other tasks as needed to support smooth store operations.
