About The Position

Nordstrom is hiring for Sales positions in various departments including Women's Apparel, Kids' Apparel & Shoes, Women's & Men's Shoes, Accessories, Active Lingerie. The company is hosting a hiring event on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 11 am to 5 pm at The Shops at La Cantera, 15900 La Cantera Pkwy, San Antonio, TX 78256. Candidates can attend the event anytime during the specified hours for an interview, and on-the-spot job offers will be made for most roles. A resume is not required, but candidates are welcome to bring one. The interview process is expected to take approximately one hour. If unable to attend the event, applications will still be considered.

Requirements

Ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours per shift.
Ability to frequently bend, twist, squat, flex, and reach.
Ability to use hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
Ability to reach for and lift items above the head.
Ability to regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, including frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing, and reaching to handle merchandise and assist customers.
Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
Handling bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, including reaching for and lifting them above the head.
Regularly lifting items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
Selling merchandise in various departments such as Women's Apparel, Kids' Apparel & Shoes, Women's & Men's Shoes, Accessories, Active Lingerie.
