About The Position

Nordstrom is hiring for Sales roles in Women's Apparel, Active, Jewelry, Designer Shoes, and Lingerie. They are also hiring for Beauty Advisors & Counter Managers. The company is hosting a hiring event on Thursday, May 28, 2026, from 11 am to 5 pm at 10 Oakbrook Center, Oak Brook, IL 60523. Interviews will take approximately 1 hour, and on-the-spot job offers will be made for most roles. If unable to attend the event, applications will still be considered.

Requirements

Sales experience in Women's Apparel, Active, Jewelry, Designer Shoes, or Lingerie.
Experience as a Beauty Advisor or Counter Manager.
Ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours per shift.
Ability to frequently bend, twist, squat, flex, and reach.
Ability to use hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
Ability to handle bulky and awkwardly shaped items.
Ability to regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds [Stock/Logistics Only].

Responsibilities

Continuous movement for 6-8 hours per shift, which includes frequent bending, twisting, squatting, flexing and reaching in order to handle merchandise and assist customers.
Frequent use of hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
Handle bulky and sometimes awkwardly shaped items, which includes reaching for and lifting these items above the head.
Regularly lift items weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds.
Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds [Stock/Logistics Only].
