About The Position

The Infusion Therapies and Platforms (ITP) Enterprise Sales Training Manager develops, delivers, and measures training that equips ITP sales professionals and other customer-facing employees to represent Baxter with our customers. Developing the capabilities for our sales teams to connect with customers on our products, clinical solutions, and commercial strategies effectively. Partnering with sales leadership, marketing, subject matter experts, and the enterprise enablement Center of Excellence (COE), this role in the Global Commercial Training & Sales Enablement (CTSE) organization translates business priorities and global content into relevant onboarding, product launch, clinical, selling-skills, certification, remediation, and ongoing development programs delivered in person, virtually, or through self-paced learning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in sales, sales training, clinical education, instructional design, or a related commercial-learning discipline.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and facilitate effective in-person, virtual, and self-paced learning is preferred.
  • Ability to translate complex clinical, product, or commercial content into clear, actionable learning.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, project-management, planning, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to analyze training needs, learner results, and metrics to improve effectiveness.
  • Proficiency with virtual meeting platforms and the ability to learn digital-learning tools.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% for workshops and training events, including occasional weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales leadership, marketing, subject matter experts, commercial stakeholders, and the Enterprise Enablement Center of Excellence to identify capability needs and align training priorities with business objectives.
  • Translate clinical, product, marketing, and commercial information into clear learning experiences and field-ready sales messaging.
  • Recommend targeted solutions for knowledge, skill, performance, and launch-readiness gaps, and communicate priorities, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Partner with the COE to design, customize, and maintain curriculum for ITP therapies, products, customer call points, selling skills, sales effectiveness, and business acumen.
  • Develop onboarding, product launch, upskilling, certification, and remediation programs across the learner lifecycle from new hire to retirement across varied learning methods including instructor-led, virtual, self-paced, and digital formats.
  • Define learning objectives, proficiency expectations, timing, and delivery methods that strengthen engagement, retention, and skills and capabilities across the sales competencies required for each role.
  • Facilitate engaging in-person and virtual training, workshops, assessments, and other learning experiences.
  • Lead or support new-hire onboarding and ongoing development, adapting delivery to learner needs and experience levels.
  • Assess learner progress, communicate performance to managers, and reinforce accountability and field readiness.
  • Develop and administer assessments, certification standards, recertification requirements, and remediation plans that measure learner proficiency and application.
  • Deliver and assess training for sales or business kickoff meetings, when assigned.
  • Monitor post-training and launch-performance gaps and partner with stakeholders on appropriate follow-through solutions.
  • Define measures for training effectiveness and learner proficiency; analyze metrics and stakeholder feedback to assess outcomes.
  • Use results to improve curriculum, delivery, assessments, and follow-up activities.
  • Contribute to training KPIs and dashboards and communicate results and gaps to business stakeholders.
  • Lead assigned training programs, special projects to support business initiatives, including but not limited to National Training meetings, and product launch initiatives from planning through execution and evaluation.
  • Coordinate stakeholders, subject matter experts, content, facilitation, assessments, and communications for successful delivery.
  • Manage multiple priorities, deadlines, risks, and issues while maintaining quality and accountability.
