Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field; Master’s degree in a business, medical, or science discipline preferred
  • 5+ years of successful medical sales experience, including hospital selling, surgical case support, and contract negotiations
  • 3+ years of experience developing and delivering sales training programs or serving as a designated field sales trainer
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and professional medical education methodologies
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • High level of organization, autonomy, motivation, and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and modern learning or sales enablement platforms
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30–50%

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and continuously improve comprehensive onboarding and development programs that accelerate sales readiness, confidence, and performance
  • Develop structured learning pathways and competency-based curricula aligned with commercial strategy, clinical evidence, and field execution needs
  • Deliver engaging training experiences using blended learning approaches, including virtual and in-person sessions, eLearning, simulations, and scenario-based learning
  • Collaborate closely with sales leadership, marketing, and field training teams to ensure alignment of messaging, content, and performance objectives
  • Lead the planning and execution of national sales meetings and quarterly planning events, including agenda design, content coordination, and facilitator alignment
  • Conduct regular field visits to observe sales interactions, identify development needs, and provide targeted coaching and performance feedback
  • Manage training budgets, logistics, scheduling, and resources to ensure efficient and high-quality program delivery
  • Leverage sales enablement platforms to assign coursework, track progress, measure competencies, and optimize learning outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with ethical standards, regulatory guidelines, and internal governance processes across all training initiatives
