About The Position

Sales Training Manager & Training Center Lead Location: Greenville, Michigan Reports to: Marketing Director Middleby Refrigeration is seeking a dynamic and organized Sales Training Manager & Training Center Lead to join our team in Greenville, MI. This role is responsible for leading the company’s sales training strategy and managing all activities within the corporate training center. The Sales Training Manager & Training Center Lead serves as the primary sales trainer for both in-person and virtual sales programs, while also coordinating service training events hosted at the training center. This role plays a critical part in developing, delivering, and scaling sales training across the organization, supporting field sales teams through a blended approach that includes live instruction, virtual training, recorded content, and in-field coaching. This position partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Service to ensure training content is accurate, consistent, and aligned with business objectives. The Sales Training Manager & Training Center Lead also ensures the training center operates efficiently to support effective learning, collaboration, and an elevated brand experience. The ideal candidate is highly organized, engaging, and customer-focused, with the ability to clearly communicate technical product information in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Expected Hours of Work: This position is full-time. The general scheduled workdays are Monday through Friday. This is an on-site role with limited travel (approximately 3–5 days per month).

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales training, sales enablement, or sales leadership.
  • Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Experience delivering training in multiple formats (in-person, virtual, recorded).
  • Strong organizational and event coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple training programs and schedules simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel up to 3–5 days per month.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing or supporting a corporate training center.
  • Background in B2B sales or technical/product-driven sales environments.
  • Experience developing video-based or digital learning content.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales processes.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary trainer for 10–12 in-person sales training programs annually.
  • Design, develop, and deliver sales training content aligned with company products, solutions, and sales processes.
  • Lead sales training for field sales teams through: Live virtual sessions (Zoom/Teams) Recorded video-based training modules In-field training and ride-alongs
  • Continuously evaluate and improve sales training effectiveness based on feedback, performance metrics, and evolving business needs.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to align training programs with strategic objectives and sales initiatives.
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the corporate training center in Greenville, Michigan.
  • Plan, schedule, and host approximately: 10–12 in-person sales training events annually 10–12 in-person service training events annually
  • Ensure training facilities are properly prepared, organized, and equipped for all events.
  • Act as the event coordinator (not trainer) for service training programs.
  • Handle logistics including: Scheduling and calendars Room setup and equipment Coordination with service trainers, instructors, and internal stakeholders On-site support during training events
  • Ensure a professional, well-organized experience for all service training attendees.
  • Create and maintain sales training materials including presentations, manuals, and video content.
  • Partner with internal teams (sales, service, marketing, product) to ensure training materials are accurate and up to date.
  • Support onboarding and ongoing development of sales team members.
  • Travel approximately 3–5 days per month to support field sales training initiatives and in-person training events.
  • Provide hands-on coaching and reinforcement of training concepts in real-world sales environments
