About The Position

Georgia Farm Bureau Insurance is seeking a Sales Training Agent for a full-time, commission-based position. This role involves selling and servicing a wide range of insurance products, including farm, crop, auto, homeowners, commercial, life, medical, and dental. The agent will be responsible for meeting quarterly sales and retention goals, adhering to strategic and service goals, and prospecting new customers. The position requires active community involvement, property inspections, and continuous professional development. Georgia Farm Bureau Insurance is dedicated to promoting Georgia farmland and preserving the state's agriculture industry.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Valid Georgia driver’s license
Must have passed Georgia Property/Casualty and Life/Health insurance exams (License Required)
Actively pursuing licensure through the Georgia Department of Insurance
Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills
Self-motivated, community-minded, and eager to grow

Responsibilities

Meet quarterly sales and retention goals
Adhere to strategic and service goals as outlined in the agency’s business plans
Consult with clients to explain policies, analyze coverage needs, and recommend solutions
Prospect new customers and grow membership through community networking
Ensure all policy documentation and service requirements are completed accurately
Inspect properties to assess risk and recommend corrective actions
Promote GFB and GFBMIC through local advertising and active community involvement
Engage in continuous professional development and product training
Foster strong relationships between county offices and the home office
