About The Position

This is a training role designed to prepare the Sales Trainee for the Account Sales Manager role. The primary function is to support sales initiatives and provide route coverage for the Account Sales Manager (ASM) during absences due to vacation, sickness, injury, or special projects. The Sales Trainee will collaborate with management to maintain customer relationships across sales, merchandising, and operations for all large and small format "off premise" stores. The role requires effectively servicing all customers in a safe, productive, and professional manner, adhering to Red Bull's executional standards. The program includes understanding Red Bull's business and brand, building and protecting the brand through proper product rotation and flow, and establishing professional customer relationships to drive sales. Daily preparation involves gathering necessary tools like insights, displays, Point of Sale materials, and pricing information. Effective communication with ASMs/DSMs regarding daily priorities and training with ASMs in route support are key components. The role is measured by achieving global strategy for in-store execution, focusing on Winning vs Competition (WVC) and Perfect Store Audit (PSA) metrics. The Sales Trainee will cover ASM routes as needed and meet daily KPIs in sales, distributions, pricing, displays, new accounts, and merchandising. Off-route support includes assisting the team with audits, blitzes, display building, and merchandising to drive sales. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Valid US Driver's License
  • Obtainment of DOT Medical card
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Experience in customer service and sales is a plus
  • Ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds of inventory and/or advertising displays
  • English proficiency; additional languages an advantage

Responsibilities

  • Support sales initiatives and provide route coverage for the ASM during absences.
  • Maintain customer relationships between sales, merchandising, and operations for "off premise" stores.
  • Service all customers in a safe, productive, and professional manner in compliance with Red Bull executional standards.
  • Understand and learn the basics of Red Bull and Red Bull Distribution Company, the brand, and products.
  • Build and protect the Red Bull brand through proper rotation to ensure fresh product and set proper brand flow following Red Bull standards.
  • Establish and maintain friendly and professional relationships with customers to increase sales.
  • Obtain all necessary tools (insights, displays, Point of Sale, Pricing, etc.) to execute the daily plan.
  • Effectively communicate with ASMs/DSMs on daily priorities.
  • Train with ASMs in route support.
  • Cover ASM routes as needed.
  • Meet daily KPIs focused on sales, distributions, pricing, display, new accounts, and merchandising.
  • Support the team with audits, blitzes, building of displays, and merchandising to effectively drive the sales business.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
