About The Position

Huntsman is seeking a Sales Territory Manager for the Polyurethanes Division, covering Arizona, California, and Nevada. This is a remote role, requiring the candidate to reside in Arizona or Nevada. The position reports to the Regional Sales Director. The Sales Territory Manager is a crucial role within HBS, requiring solid experience in the construction or building materials industry, preferably with a background in spray foam or insulation. The individual must be adept at maintaining strong customer relationships within their assigned region and thinking strategically about pricing, competitive positioning, personnel, and company needs, all while operating safely and ethically.

Requirements

  • Unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in outside sales within construction or building materials.
  • Spray foam or insulation experience strongly preferred.
  • Must reside in Arizona or Nevada.
  • Proficient in MS Office and Salesforce.
  • Problem-solving aptitude.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration and time management abilities.
  • Sales-oriented and analytical.

Responsibilities

  • Driving spray foam sales to contractors and distributors in the assigned territories to achieve annual sales targets.
  • Developing annual business plans that outline the activities needed to exceed quota.
  • Meeting regularly with clients to deliver the HBS value proposition and gain specifications.
  • Participating in industry or promotional events.
  • Demonstrating complete understanding of pricing and proposal models.
  • Conducting intelligent, persuasive business conversations with business owners and decision-makers at the contractor, distributor, and specifier levels.
  • Developing clear business proposals, negotiating, and executing business deals.
  • Providing regular competitive intelligence updates, including in-kind and out-of-kind pricing and marketing strategies.
  • Handling all administrative requirements, including timely email responses, expense submissions, pricing requests, performance management tasks, and related items.
